CHÂTEAU COUFRAN 2023 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is spicy and offers a certain small concentration, intensity and a fine grain. It expresses notes of violet, gray pepper and small notes of nutmeg associated with touches of small wild fruits and hints of graphite and clove. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, good definition, tension, accuracy. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and small notes of small dense/concentrated red berries, associated with touches of graphite, racy minerality as well as fine hints of tobacco, smoke and a subtle hint of vanilla in the background. Good length, the tannins are stretched and savoury.
