The nose is aromatic and offers a fine grain, a fine richness, a fine intensity and a fine complexity. It reveals notes of crunchy blackberry, ripe strawberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of spices (cardamom, Sichuan pepper, Bourbon vanilla…) as well as very fine hints of small ripe/crushed black berries. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers freshness, minerality, an acidulous frame as well as a fine suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous raspberry, juicy/acidulous cassis and small notes of crunchy raspberry associated with very fine touches of violet, crushed blackberry as well as hints of spices and caramelization/vanilla. Tannins are straight, racy and structuring. Notes of toasted/vanilla on the persistence.
