The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, a small gourmandize as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of quite ripe cassis, dry blackberry, small notes of dry plum/prune associated with a hint of crushed strawberry as well as fine hints of violet, pepper, discreet hints of caramelization and mushroom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, a fine straightness as well as freshness, a beautiful grain, tension as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of prune associated with small touches of dry wild strawberry, truffle/mushroom as well as a subtle hint of dry blueberry, violet, caramelization, very discreet hints of toasted and toasted almond. A subtle saline hint on the finish. Tannins are very discreetly marked. A fine powdered side in the finish/persistence.
