The nose is powerful, racy and offers richness and minerality. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and crushed redcurrant combined with a hint of cherry, pepper, mocha, minerality almost saline as well a slight hints of violet, terroir (gravels / racy) and a very discreet hint of spices. The mouth is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers juiciness, concentration, tension, gourmandise, a good freshness and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, raspberry and slight notes of of strawberry / redcurrant associated with touches of blackberry, subtle touches of mocha, cardamom, tea and discreet hints of Timut pepper (background). Tannins are fine and structuring. Good length and good persistence. There are a touch of chocolate and a very discreet hint of vanilla / hazelnut on the persistence.
