The nose is fruity, elegant, racy, precise and offers straightness as well as complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, black cherry and cassis associated with small notes of strawberry, fleshy raspberry, wild red berries as well as subtle hints of sweet spices, liquorice, toasted and fine hints of graphite. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, structured and offers suavity, tension, racy minerality, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful harmony as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and more slightly strawberry, racy minerality associated with fine/discreet touches of flowers, graphite, spices, almond as well as discreet touches of cardamom. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly firm. Very nice potential. The finish offers a fine austerity. There are fine hints of bitter cocoa on the finish (bring gourmandize as well as apppetite).
