The nose is fruity, gourmand, racy and offers fleshiness, a small richness as well as elegance. It reveals notes of blackberry, gray pepper and small notes of raspberry, gravels associated with fine touches of oak, smoke as well as discreet hints of violet, spices and a very discreet hint of mushroom (in the background). The palate is fruity, slightly tight and offers a small juiciness, structure, a small tension, a fine acidulous frame, a good freshness as well as suavity/gravels. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of small juicy/crunchy red berries associated with touches of flowers, crunchy/acidulous blueberry, fine touches of chocolate as well as hints of spices, cardamom and smoke/oak. Tannins are fine and tight.
