Château Corconnac 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity, racy and offers fine concentration and depth. There are notes of wild strawberry, nutmeg and, more slightly, ripe berries combined with fine clove and crushed redcurrant notes and a hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, fat, precision, roundness, a fine acidic backbone and creaminess. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy wild strawberry, blackberry and slightly violet combined with hints of creamy blackcurrant, crushed redcurrant, clove, sweet blond tobacco, as well as fine toasted/caramelised notes and a subtle touch of vanilla. Juicy and nicely fleshy/acidic fruit.
