The nose is spicy and reveals some power and fine concentration. There are notes of clove, fresh/pulp blackberry and more lightly strawberry combined with fine touches of tobacco, nutmeg and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fresh, mineral, discreetly tight and reveals good bitterness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, nutmeg and more lightly cardamom combined with delicate hints of clove, tobacco as well as subtle varietal hints and a subtle touch of tonka bean. Good length.
