The nose is elegant, aromatic, racy, nicely precise and textured in its grain. It expresses notes of boysenberry, crushed berries and more slightly – star anise associated with fine touches of toast, quite ripe red berries as well as a hint of camphor and fresh tobacco and toasted-fresh almond. The palate is nicely fresh, juicy and offers minerality, a tangy frame, accuracy, tension. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – fresh/bright wild raspberry, associated with touches of bright berries, infusion, tobacco and discreet hints of cornflower and tonka bean. The tannins are sapid and mellow. Nice freshness and harmony. Hint of cocoa on the finish/persistence
