Château Corbin 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

Nice fruity nose, elegant, racy and which offers a certain creaminess in its fruit. We find notes of crushed strawberry, blueberry and slight notes of morello cherry associated with touches of small pulpy fruits, fine hints of star anise as well as a subtle hint of cornflower, salinity and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is nicely fruity, fresh with energy and purity. There is an electric side to the delicacy. We have notes of pulpy cherry, bright purple plum and slight notes of blackcurrant associated with fine hints of tonka bean/chocolate. There is flesh and juiciness, purity in the fruit. Beautiful freshness, brightness and gourmandise with precision. The wine is fleshy, full of precision and finesse, voluptuous. There is a discreet graphite tip in retro-olfaction.
