The nose is fruity, concentration, finely tight and offers intensity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, cornflower, blueberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of toasted, caramelization, crunchy raspberry as well as fine hints of iris, fine hints of sweet spices, vanilla pod and a very discreet salinity. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers silkiness, concentration (full of control), a fine grain, power, a beautiful precision, finesse as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy wild cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of fleshy/pulpy Quetsche plum, cornflower, lily as well as hints of chocolate, caramelization, nutmeg, vanilla pods and a subtle hint of black tea. Tannins are well-built, racy and precise. Good length and persistence. There is a nice auster hint which adds charm to this beautiful (and gourmand) wine!
