Château Confidence de Margaux 2019 – Margaux

The nose is racy and offers a certain intensity. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, violet and, to a lesser extent, wild blackberry, combined with fine touches of pepper, liquorice stick and a discreet hint of clove. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, some tension and a fine juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, wild black berries and more slightly fresh lily combined with hints of wild berries as well as fine chocolate, liquorice and a discreet hint of clove. A hint of toast in the background.
