The nose is fruity, marked by darkness, a side of infusion, black tea and spices. It would benefit from being decanted because it is currently quite tight. There are notes of black cherry, morello cherry, fairly ripe blackcurrant, as well as a touch of infusion, black tea, with a hint of zan and black pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh, with good definition, a certain tension and concentration. The structure is a little tight. We perceive notes of blackcurrant, black tea, and sappy/floral, with touches of small black berries, incense, as well as fine hints of liquorice stick and tobacco. A tight tannic structure, with fine tannins, a bit drying.
