It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with a touch of raspberry, hints of hazelnut/almond, toasted as well as a very discreet hint of mild tobacco and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, precision, gourmandize, a fine suavity as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, Boysen berry and small notes of fleshy red berries associated with a touch of ripe cherry, toasted, violet as well as very discreet hints of almond and caramelization. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
