The nose is frank, racy with a certain slight straightness and a fine grain. We feel a velvety appearance and the nose is discreetly tight with fullness. We have notes of bright blackberries, creamy blackcurrant and small notes of star anise associated with touches of pepper, cornflower as well as fine hints of sense of place, lilac, a hint of roast and discreet notes of sweet spices. The palate is fresh with minerality and good definition. There is juiciness, accuracy and a certain little tension in the harmony and in the pretty little pulpy side of the fruit. We have notes of juicy and pulpy blackberries, raspberries and small notes of small roasted red fruits associated with a touch of small pulpy blue fruits as well as hints of licorice sticks, lily and chocolate vanilla. It is a wine with deliciousness, lovely freshness and minerality. There is a satiny side on the palate with supple and elegant tannins.
