The nose is nicely fruity, bright, with intensity and a certain concentration/depth. There are notes of roasted Mediterranean cherry, small red berries, and slight notes of violet, associated with touches of wild blackberry as well as fine hints of smoke, zan (anise), infusion, and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is also nicely structured, fresh, mineral, balanced, with a fresh and tangy structure, good definition, juiciness, suppleness and freshness. We perceive notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, crushed raspberry and elegant roasted berries associated with touches of cornflower, blond tobacco, as well as a fine almost bay leaf hint, infusion, and a discreet touch of zan and chocolate. Good length. This wine is fresh, gourmand and mellow with an airy and creamy finesse.
