The nose is elegant, aromatic and shows some gourmandize, intensity, power and harmony. There are notes of pulpy strawberry, crushed cherry and more lightly lilac, fresh blueberry combined with touches of pulpy berries as well as fine peppercorns, a subtle hint of sweet spices, fresh tobacco and a discreet hint of infused vanilla. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, good definition, intensity, sweetness, roundness, fullness, harmony and sincerity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, unctuous blackcurrant and more lightly fresh/flavoured cherry combined with delicate hints of flowers, liquorice, lilac, a subtle hint of anise, sweet spices, nutmeg and fresh tobacco. An elegant, fresh, fruity wine with an airy approach that plays with the bitter and varietal flavours. A fine chewiness on the finish.
