The nose is fruity, flowered, fine, elegant and gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and crushed raspberry associated with small notes of cassis, fleshy small fruits, toasted almond, chocolate and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise, suave, full and offers a good definition, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a small tension, suavity, a small freshness, a bit aerial as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy black berries and more slightly wild raspberry, cornflower/violet associated with fine touches of toasted, sugared mild tobacco as well as subtle touches of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. Chews on the finish.
