There are notes of bright blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry and more slightly violet combined with touches of crushed blackberry as well as hints of vanilla, fine hints of star anise and caramelisation. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant and reveals a nice fleshiness, roundness, a nice fleshiness, juiciness of the fruit, a nice management of the ripeness, gourmandize, a discreet floral side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lily, pulpy blackberry, pulpy blueberry and more slightly fleshy strawberry combined with hints of lily, lilac as well as hints of pulpy/crushed berry, blackcurrant, chocolate, vanilla, a subtle touch of black tea and almond. A hint of tonka bean on the finish. The tannins are fine, soft and supple.
