The nose is fruity, powerful, a bit spicy and offers minerality. It reveals notes of blackberry and wild berries combined with slight notes of flowers, hints of spice as well a discreet hint of clove, tobacco and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The mouth is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a nice unctuous matter, complexity, a nice minerality and a beautiful fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fine notes of blueberry and fine hints of cherry, raspberry associated with a discreet hint of wild strawberry, caramelized oak as well as discreet toasted oak, a slight hint of licorice and a very discreet hint of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Good length and persistence. The finish and the persistence are suave. The finish is finely powerful.
