The nose is precise, « frank », airy and powerful at the same time, and would benefits from decanting. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, cubeb pepper and small notes of small bright red fruits, associated with fine touches of cranberry, violet, a very discreet hint of infusion and a subtle, almost mandarin/citrus-like hint. The palate is well-built, precise, mellow, gourmand with a little fat, roundness, a little sphericity side on the palate, precision and accuracy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, brilliant raspberry and small notes of small bright red berries, associated with touches of black chocolate, sweet blond tobacco and vanilla. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. Good length. Lovely mellowness.
