Château Claud Bellevue 2019 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is well-built, slightly tight and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, pulpy blackberry and small notes of pulpy purple plum associated with fine touches of lily, lilac as well as hints of liquorice, camphor, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The mouth is mineral, fruity, well-balanced and offers a small fat, a fine tension, suavity / dynamism, roundness as well as a very fine freshness (in the background). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, pulpy / juicy blackberry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of pulpy purple plum, cornflowers as well as slight toasted hints, licorice and cardamom. Tannins are very slightly firm. Good length. Sapidity and a slight firmness on the finish.
