The nose is elegant, fruity and reveals delicacy in its product/definition, racy freshness. There are notes of pulpy/sparkling blackcurrant, fresh Morello cherry and slightly violet combined with hints of lily, liquorice, racy minerality, a subtle hint of mocha and star anise. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral, balanced, complete and demonstrates freshness, juiciness, acidity, roundness, definition and acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed redcurrant and more slightly juicy/acidic Morello cherry combined with hints of liquorice, blond tobacco as well as fine points of camphor, caramelisation, chocolate and toasted almond. A nice acidic finish. Good length.
