The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers richness (full of control), finesse as well as a certain delicacy and a small complexity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of toasted associated with touches of strawberry, flowers, pepper, fine hints of vanilla, juicy violet plum, tonka bean as well as discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, raspberry and small notes of crunchy/fresh blackberry associated with touches of violet, lilac, vanilla as well as hints of chocolate, nutmeg, a racy minerality, an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background) and a discreet hint of crushed almond. Good length. Tannins are elegant and precise. A very fine chew in the finish/persistence.
