The nose is fruity, racy and offers suppleness as well as a toasted/vanilla side. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of vanilla associated with touches of crushed red berries as well as hints of violet, blond tobacco and a hint of vanilla. The palate is nicely fruity, mineral and offers juiciness, suppleness, a certain verticality as well as a chiseled side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy raspberry, juicy/fresh violet plum and small notes of violet associated with touches of tonka bean, tobacco, a hint of clove as well as a subtle almost bright cherry hint and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are sapid and racy. A small chew on the finish/persistence. A very discreet salinity in the background.
