Château Clarisse 2021 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

Château Clarisse 2021 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers accuracy, precision and freshness. It expresses notes of ripe fruit (morello cherry, black plum, crushed raspberry, strawberry, a touch of cranberry syrup), combined with notes of cherry in chocolate, sweet spices (liquorice, ground cumin, a fine touch of vanilla), fresh mint and fresh flowers (rose, violet). The palate is juicy, silky and enveloping. It offers notes of black fruits (black plum, blackberry, morello cherry), combined with tangy touches of bigarreau cherry and raspberry, a savoury spiciness (nutmeg, liquorice, clove), and a herbaceous hint of fresh tobacco. and crushed mint leaf, as well as a floral touch of violet and lily. The tannins are firm, a bit grippy, but enveloped and offer the wine good aging potential. The finish expresses a salivating acidity and light notes of torrefaction (smoke, toast).
