On the nose it offers gourmandize. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly pulpy berry fruit associated with touches of Bourbon vanilla as well as a hint of hazelnut and a very discreet hint almost bergamot (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, acidity / a tangy frame, some gourmandize, tension as well as a little straightforwardness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / luscious blackberry, bright cassis and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with touches of cornflowers, vanilla, sweet spices as well as a subtle hint of toasted almond. Good length. Sapidity at the end of the length / persistence.
