The nose is fruity, elegant and reveals fine richness and pulpiness. There are notes of blueberry, crushed raspberry and, more slightly, pulpy blue berries combined with fine touches of lilac, nutmeg and fine hints of vanilla bean. The palate is fruity, racy and reveals juiciness, freshness, racy minerality and a strong mineral backbone. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, violet and more slightly blueberry combined with hints of juicy/fresh blue berries, raspberry as well as hints of zan, sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of chocolate (in the background). Good length. The tannins are precise and mellow. Sapid and discreetly saline finish.
