The nose reveals notes of flowers (iris, violet) and blackberry associated with slight notes of fresh small fruits, licorice stick, spices as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful mineral frame, fat, tension, a good volume, unctuosity as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and fleshy Gariguette strawberry associated with slight hints of black cherry, raspberry, caramelized oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of tobacco and flowers (very discreet). Good length and gourmand persistence. There is a slight hint of caramelization/sweet spices on the persistence/finish. There is a very discreet hint of minerality almost salin on the persistence which brings suavity. A beautiful wine!
