The nose is fruity and offers freshness as well as a very fine unctuosity. There are notes of bright cassis, liquorice and small notes of morello cherry, combined with touches of quite ripe strawberry, as well as slight hints of zan and a very discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fresh, fruity and offers a certain gourmandize, salinity and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, acidulous plum and small notes of creamy redcurrant combined with hints of acidulous small red fruits as well as liquorice, blond tobacco, a hint of camphor and a subtle hint of cocoa. Tannins are very discreetly dry. A slight drying effect on the finish.
