On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, freshness, minerality, richness as well as tension, good definition as well as a certain depth, good balance and an airy yet balanced character.
The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, creamy blackberry and subtle touches of creamy strawberry combined with hints of bright/acidic blueberry, blueberry, licorice stick as well as a discrete touch of chocolate, toasted hazelnut, tonka bean and vanilla. Good length. The tannins are precise and delicately firm. Some chewiness on the finish/persistence.
