The nose is powdery, with sweet spices. There are notes of toast, cocoa and more slightly violet combined with hints of pulpy blackcurrant, red berries, fine nuances of racy minerality as well as discrete toasted hazelnut and a very delicate hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals freshness, minerality/mineral structure, good definition and juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses pulpy/juicy cherry, raspberry and slightly blackcurrant notes combined with hints of violet, lily, toasted almond nutmeg and fine toasted notes and a subtle hint of smoke. Good length. The tannins are a bit extracted and pronounced.
