The nose reveals notes of blackberry, small berries and more slightly of Sichuan pepper associated with fine touches of red fruits as well as hints of toasted, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers fleshiness, a fine gourmandize, fleshy/juicy fruit, a small acid frame, a fine fullness as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, fleshy/juicy red berries and small touches of blackberry, cassis associated with fine hints of toasted, mild tobacco as well as a discreet hint of vanilla/chocolate (in the background). Tannins are slightly tight and dry. There is a discree hint of caramelization on the aftertaste.
