Château Chauvin 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

Château Chauvin 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant, fresh and offers racy power, elegance as well as lovely definition. Beautifully marked by its terroir. We find notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, bright blackberry and slight notes of violet associated with touches of small, fairly ripe red fruits, sappy hints as well as discreet hints of sense of place (local biotop). The palate is juicy, balanced, pulpy and offers brightness, gourmandise, a tangy structure, delicacy as well as mastery in its power and its solar side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, bright blackcurrant, juicy/tart Boysenberry and small notes of tangy blueberry associated with touches of pulpy/juicy raspberry, hints of cornflower, spices as well as with a hint of roasting and cardamom. The tannins are sapid and well-built. Good length.
