Château Chasse-Spleen 2023 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration and a very fine intensity, a fine and taut grain, a peppery side. It expresses notes of blackberry, small black fruits and more slightly – pepper, associated with touches of violet, lily, nutmeg, as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers freshness, good definition, a certain delicacy, a tangy frame, a racy minerality, tension, stretched side in freshness, and accuracy. It expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, juicy / fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – fresh small red fruits, associated with touches of violet, lily, cornflower, cubeb pepper, as well as fine hints of fresh spices and a gravelly and varietal hint in the background. Good length. Frank, racy and sapid tannins.
