Château CHASSE SPLEEN 2022 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is beautifully racy, mineral, deep, all in finesse, silky and offers power, precision and depth. There is also a fine floral side. It reveals notes of bright Boysenberry, bigarreau cherry and small notes of bright blueberry associated with hints of cornflower, lily and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant and gourmand. It presents anacidulous frame, precision, suppleness and delicacy. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, graphite and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of bright cassis, as well as hints of plum blossom, violet, infusion, star anise and fine touches of toast. Tannins need time to polish. A touch of vanilla in the background. A wine offering a certain creaminess, bringing freshness while remaining delicate. Beautiful persistence.
