Château Charmail 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is well-built, floral, brilliant, elegant and offers good energy and definition. It reveals notes of cornflower, violet and small notes of brilliant blackberry, small fairly ripe red fruits, as well as a discreet hint of small brilliant fruits and a discreet hint of eucalyptus. The palate is well-built, fruity, mineral, it offers creaminess and certain gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of lovely fleshy/ripe fruit, violet, pulpy cassis and small notes of small brilliant black fruits, combined with touches of infusion, as well as hints of cornflower, small blue plums, racy minerality, a hint of fresh cherry and grahene. A subtle varietal hint on the persistence.
