Château Chante Alouette 2020, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 

On the nose, fruity and offers a little power, fine texture and fine intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, ripe cassis and hints of violet combined with touches of morello cherry, crushed raspberry and hints of licorice stick, black tea, saffron, fine tonka bean and vanilla bean. On the palate it is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain greediness, and a fresh acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, blackcurrant and subtle bright raspberry combined with nuances of creamy/fresh plum as well as hints of lilac, licorice stick, touches of sweet spice and an imperceptible hint of coffee in the background. The tannins are finely mellow. Good length. Very fine chewiness on the palate/persistence. .
