Château Chantalouette 2022 – Pomerol

Château Chantalouette 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is floral, fresh and racy, with a hint of minerality. We perceive notes of violet, fresh blackcurrant, and fresh red berries, associated with touches of fresh tobacco and a subtle hint of clove in the background. The palate is nicely fruity, offering freshness, juiciness, suppleness, with a little roundness and a slight fatty touch. The wine is distinguished by its delicacy in its texture with a little airy side, a graphene side and notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and juicy/fresh purple plum. These flavors are associated with touches of chocolate, racy minerality, smoke, as well as fine touches of toast and vanilla. Good length, with tannins offering a fine chew.
