Château Certan de May de Certan 2024 – Pomerol

The nose is floral, elegant, delicate, clean and offers a certain complexity. It reveals notes of chocolate, Bourbon vanilla and small notes of black cherry, associated with touches of blueberry, small brilliant fruits, as well as hints of violet, floral pepper and fine touches of blond tobacco. The palate is nicely mineral, with freshness, a little floral side, good definition, precision and suppleness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of fresh blueberry, combined with touches of cornflower, plum blossom, as well as a hint of small crushed/fresh red berries, blond tobacco, dark chocolate and roasted hazelnut. Good length. Freshness, suppleness and minerality, with gourmandise. A certain little power on the finish prolongs and stretches the palate.
