Château Cassagne Haut-Canon – La Truffière 2019 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose is fruity, liquorice and offers a little flowery side. It reveals notes of concentrated cassis, violet and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of licorice stick, lilac as well as a subtle hint of coffee (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy texture, minerality, good guideline and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of concentrated cassis, tangy blueberry and more lightly crushed / tangy redcurrants associated with touches of iris, fresh lilies as well as a discreet hint of varietal / white flowers and a subtle hint of licorice in the background.
