The nose reveals good definition, elegance, some concentration and fine power. There are notes of boysenberry, bright blackcurrant, and more lightly lily, blueberry, combined with hints of graphite, red berries and a hint of grey pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity and shows minerality, freshness, some volume, good definition and fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy black cherry, small black berry and more lightly violet combined with hints of lily, graphite, incense, wild red berries as well as fine points of cardamom and a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. Good length. The tannins are fine and mellow. A very discreet hint of coffee in the background.
