The nose is spicy. The wine deserves to be decanted. It reveals notes of violet, nutmeg and slight hints of camphor associated with touches of blackberry, ripe berries as well as a hint of violet/peony and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, a bit aerial, and offers freshness, an acid frame, good definition, a certain tension, smoothness, some fattiness as well as gourmandise. A certain power and a nice freshness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and slight notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of small bright red berries as well as hints of toast, almond, rose and spices. The tannins are supple and fresh.
