The nose is elegant, fine, racy and offers power as well as a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of wild cassis, boysenberry and small notes of small berries associated with slight touches of pepper as well as discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, beautifully racy and offers juiciness, gourmandise, suavity, a beautiful acidulous frame, sapidity as well as good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, pulpy / juicy blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed wild raspberry, small crushed blue fruits, hints of chocolate, toasted as well as very discreet hints of nutmeg and light tobacco. Tannins are well-built.
