The nose is aromatic, racy and offers gourmandise, elegance as well as depthness. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry and fleshy strawberry associated with touches of cassis, gray pepper and a discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine acid frame, a racy minerality, fat, juiciness, a beautiful straightness and a good structure. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and cassis associated with touches of fleshy Gariguette strawberry, redcurrant, chocolate, wood / caramelization and a subtle / imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are fine and firm. Good persistence.
