The nose is fruity, harmonious and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated discreet notes of toasted oak as well as a hint of jam, liquorice and a discreet touch of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, gourmand, mineral and offers freshness as well as a beautiful silky and a bit unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and slight notes of licorice associated with a hint of chocolate and a slight hint of iodine. Tannins are fine and well built. The finish is relatively suave.
