The nose offers fine power, a discreetly tight/fine grain, some intensity, tension and airiness. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, wild blackcurrant and a bit of strawberry combined with hints of madagascar pepper, cardamom, a touch of bergamot and a very discreet touch of cinnamon/vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, good definition and a mineral backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/crunchy raspberry, violet, blackcurrant and some pulpy/acidic violet plum, combined with hints of lilac, Madagascar pepper, cardamom, a discreet hint of bergamot and toasted almond. The tannins are precise and mellow. Good length.
