The nose is elegant, racy and offers intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of cornflower, lilac, ripe/juicy Boysen berry, small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with fine touches of small juicy/acidulous blue fruits as well as hints of liquorice stick, cardamom, iris and discreet hints of black tea (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers a flowery balance, a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension as well as a small suavity and a good aromatic precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lilac, fresh cornflower, small notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry associated with touches of fleshy/juicy strawberry as well as hints of violet plum as well as discreet hints of iris, camphor, nutmeg and very discreet hints of sweet spices. Tannins are well-built. A subtle hint of crushed almond on the persistence.
