Château Cap Saint-Georges 2024 – Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion

Château Cap Saint-Georges 2024 – Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity, velvety and offers a spicy side and good definition. It reveals notes of fleshy wild blackberry, violet and small notes of graphene, associated with fine hints of clove, small wild fruits, as well as discreet hints of almost mandarin/ mandarin peel and Sichuan pepper. The palate is well-built, mineral and fruity and offers a certain lightness of fruit (but not fluidity) and juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, plum and small notes of crushed raspberry, combined with touches of juicy cassis, as well as hints of violet, lilac, toastiness and a subtle hint of fresh hazelnut. Good length. Mellow, fresh tannins. A subtle varietal hint in the background.
