The nose is elegant, racy and silky, with a certain delicate fleshiness and a little elegant darkness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild strawberry and bright wild cassis, associated with fine touches of toast, toasted almond, clove and a hint of lilac and cubeb pepper. The palate is supple, velvety, fresh, mineral and gourmande, with a fine creaminess. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright/brilliant raspberry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of iodized gravel, cinnamon stick, and a hint of nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are elegant, tasty and gourmand with a little touch of mellowness on the finish/persistence. There’s also a hint of crushed cherry, a hint of saltiness and good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
